Both during his training and throughout his 15 years of professional practice, David Marais has always been keen to seek a balance of opposites, where other penalists prefer to choose a side, by combining : theory (teaching, writing of doctrinal articles, training in new investigative techniques) and practice (he had to plead in front of all the criminal courts); expert in business law (including corporate law and trade litigation) as well as "common law", criminal law (which he had to practice on a daily basis when he was the Conference Secretary); management of risks prevention (audit, investigation, diagnosis and mapping of risks, implementation of protection solutions) as well as criminal litigation (victims as well as implicated).
Trained in well known law firms in both business law (Jeantet Associés) and criminal law (Metzner et Associés), a DEA in business law and a DEA in criminal law, from the University of Paris 1 in hands, and Expert in Business Protection and Economic Intelligence (RNCP Title 7 eq. Master 2), David MARAIS teaches at the INHESJ (National Institute of Higher Studies on Security and Justice) the management of criminal risks in companies. He is also a member of GAPEIE (Group of Actors in Business Protection and Economic Intelligence).
