She assists her clients both in the management and protection of their intangible assets, as well as in litigation matters. Her practice covers trademark law, design law, copyright law and personal data protection law.
Catherine Verneret supports clients in the protection and enhancement of their intellectual property assets, assisting them with prior art searches, trademark and design filings and monitoring before the INPI, EUIPO, WIPO and national offices worldwide. She also represents clients in opposition, revocation and invalidity proceedings before IP offices, as well as in trademark infringement and unfair competition litigation before civil and commercial courts.
She has also developed a recognized practice in copyright law, both in advisory matters and litigation.
Alongside her legal practice, Catherine Verneret continues her academic and training activities. She teaches in the Master’s degree in Industrial Property at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, focusing on the relationship between competition law and intellectual property rights, and provides training in intellectual property law with Lefebvre Dalloz Compétences.
